Workflow: Configuration → Planning → Review → Match Day

Configuration – Select squad, match settings, formation, and coach rules.

Planning – Run the solver, adjust the plan as needed, lock key players/positions, and check the validation report.

Review – A clean, readable overview of the plan for quality-checking before kick-off or before sharing it with others.

Match Day – Run the match live with substitutions, period transitions, and quick handling of unexpected changes.

Match management: create, save, load, opponent, share

Create new match

  1. Open the match panel in the top bar.
  2. Select Create new empty match to start from scratch.

Save and Save as

  • Save updates the current match.
  • Save as creates a new match entry when you change the name.

Load match

  1. Open the list of saved matches in the top bar.
  2. Select a match to load it in the current session.

Rename and match metadata

  • Match name and other match info (e.g. opponent) are updated in the match panel.
  • Always check metadata before sharing or going to Match Day.

Share

  • Sharing requires Pro and creates a read-only link for coaches and team staff.
  • A shared match can be executed in the Match Day view, but not edited.

Match Day

The Match Day view is designed for quick use during an ongoing match.

Purpose

  • Show the current period and upcoming substitutions clearly.
  • Minimise taps under pressure.
  • Give the coach a robust, easy-to-read execution view.

Typical usage pattern

  1. Start the match and follow the next substitution.
  2. Confirm substitutions as they happen.
  3. End the period and move on to the next.

Good practice

  • One person is responsible for the device during the match.
  • Confirm substitutions immediately when they are made.
  • Do a quick check-in during breaks between periods.

Replanning during a match

Replanning is used when circumstances change after the match has started.

Common reasons

  • Injury or absence
  • Late arrival
  • Goalkeeper change
  • Tactical adjustment

How it works

  1. Open the replan flow from Match Day.
  2. Enter availability changes for the remaining match time.
  3. Preview the suggested plan.
  4. Approve and save the new version.

You can replan multiple times during the same match if the situation changes again.

Important principle – Replanning only affects future playing slots. Already-played segments are kept as history and are not overwritten.

Guide: Base Rules

Tips for mobile and desktop

Mobile

  • Use long press in editing modes where drag-and-drop is replaced by a touch flow.
  • Keep focus on the Match Day view during live execution.
  • Avoid unnecessary view switches during the match.

Desktop / tablet

  • Review and planning work best on a wider screen.
  • Use the larger overview areas for pre-match validation.
  • Match Day works especially well on a tablet close to the bench.
